Series Overview
This Easter weekend, we’ve reached the epicenter of the greatest story ever told! After walking through the events of Holy Week—from the betrayal in the garden to the darkness of the cross—we’ve finally arrived at the moment that changed everything. We define Easter as celebrating God’s ultimate rescue mission. As John 3:16 tells us, God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus, to lay down His life for us so that we could live with Him forever. There is no better way to mark that “Best News Ever” than Easter in Flatirons Kids! Just like the wonder Jesus’ disciples felt when they found the empty tomb, this is the ultimate celebration for our Flatirons Kids environments. It’s where the joy of the Resurrection culminates in one massive party as we celebrate Jesus’ victory over the grave together. Get ready to kick off the season with the biggest, brightest celebration yet!
Memory Verse

PREK Materials (Easter)
Easter
Bible Story: John 18-20:23; 3:16
Key Question: When we mess up, who saves us?
Bottom Line: Jesus saves me!
It’s Easter, and we’ve reached the main event. Jesus is alive! God could have left the story at the cross, but instead, He showed His power over death itself. Jesus was laid in a cold, borrowed tomb, and for a moment, it seemed like all hope was gone. But the announcement on the third day was even more dramatic—God sent a brilliant angel to roll away the massive stone and declare the news to the women at the grave. And once Mary and the disciples saw the empty tomb and met their risen King, they couldn’t help shouting out the Good News wherever they went!
