SUMMER IS HERE
We have the ability to make Sunday the best day of the week for our kids and families that we serve! When we, as a Connections team, show up ready to serve, love on families and make them feel seen – we communicate that God is FOR them through our words and actions. So, this summer, let’s come prepare for a great time of service together!
How To Prepare For Sunday
Everything we do in Connections is informed by our three core values:
- Come Prepared
- Be Joyful
- Make It Personal
All kids + families deserve the same great level of service when they arrive at our church. Be aware of the most common things that we find that pull us away from guests:
- Leaving your serving position
- Cell phone use
- Personal conversations
- Sitting or gathering to watch the service

ADULTS

- Kids have been moved into their new grades (be on the lookout for kids who may need their grades fixed in Rock)

STUDENTS
- Student Section @ 11a Service || meet upstairs beforehand for donuts
- Move Up Month is still happening
- Kids have been moved into their new grades (be on the lookout for 6th Graders trying to come to KidMin. Encourage them to go to service upstairs)

9:00a Team
- 8:25a – Prepare for Team Huddle
- Check-In @ Computers + Grab Your Nametag
- Help yourself to coffee/drinks from Volunteer Central
- Grab Radio from Shelf
- 8:30a – Team Huddle @ New Family Area
- 8:40a. – In Positions
- 9:00a. – Service Starts
- 9:00-9:30a – Early Service Responsibilities
- Assisting families as they arrive
- Addressing cards (New Family, Birthday, SGL’s, etc.)
- Restocking birthday wall (see Flatirons Kids staff for keys to closet)
- Restocking Volunteer Central (drinks/snacks in cabinet)
- 9:30-10:15 a.m. – End of Service Responsibilities
- Grabbing numbers from all areas
- Grabbing offering from PREK + ELEM environments (place in purple money bag located in your clipboard)
- Assist with families who need help post-service (lost tag, need info, etc.)
- Communicate any necessary changes with Flatirons Kids staff
- Tidy up area before leaving
11:00a Team
